We are living in a world that is absolutely transparent and God is shining through it all the time... in people and in things and in nature and in events... but we don't see it.

A Prayer for Today

Lord, today may I not worry.
May I enjoy all the beauty before me.
I realize there is so much -
so much beauty I will miss.
Help me be satisfied with the beauty I choose to see today
 and be content with it.

Thank you Creator God for my life,
 for this day,
 for this place,
 for these circumstances,
for this moment.
 Amen

Hawk Visit Today

I saw this hawk from the kitchen window and grabbed the camera. He landed on top of the blueberry enclosure. He preened himself for a while, stretched his wings and looked around before flying off.

Isn't he a beauty?
